Autopsy Technician FellowshipAre you looking for an exciting opportunity to directly apply anatomy and detail-oriented skills in a highly professional environment while gaining medical procedural skills, a deeper understanding of pathology, and working with a team of public health motivated physicians and colleagues? The OCME has a unique opportunity to immerse you in the world of forensic autopsy work and the medical examiner system with an Autopsy Technician Fellowship. Early career public health professionals are invited to apply for a new, 11-month, paid fellowship program with the North Carolina Division of Public Health. The program includes a position as an Autopsy Technician Fellow at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Raleigh, NC. Participants in these positions will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects, develop professional skills and expertise, and network with the state’s public health leaders. Qualifying applicants will have graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree within the last three years in a major that reflects the requirements of the position listing.
